Enterprise Platform Objective: The “Intergraph Smart®” Enterprise Platform 2023 is the preferred minimum platform that all Hexagon ALI on-premise, web and mobile products intend to adopt in all their major or minor releases in the calendar year 2023. The contents within are subject to change.

Enterprise Systems Summary: Only 64-bit Clients OS, 64-bit Servers OS, and 64-bit Database Server is required by the Platform. Exceptions are to be approved and documented within the products Compatibility Matrix when a 32-bit version of a prerequisite is chosen when a 64-bit version of the same prerequisite exists.

Notes

  • 1 Windows Server 2022 version 21H2 is the Long-Term Service Channel (LTSC) version with a 5 year mainstream support through Oct 13, 2026, and another 5 year extended support through Oct 14, 2031. LTSC releases every 2-3 years.
  • 2 MS SQL Server 2019 has a Mainstream End Date of Feb 28, 2025, and an Extended End Date of Jan 8, 2030. MS SQL Server 2022 is planned to release in Q4 2022.
  • 3 Oracle 19c Release Update 19.13 or later supports Windows 11 x64 and Windows Server 2022 x64. Premier Support ends April 30, 2024, followed by a one year Waived Extended Support Fee through April 30, 2025, followed by an Extended Support Date through April 30, 2027.
  • 4 Linux along with either Oracle for Linux, and MS SQL Server for Linux are optional platforms, and product should use these versions if the product team determines it is supported. Oracle Linux 8 Update 6 or later supports Oracle 19c. As of Nov. 2022, the latest version of Oracle Linux is 8.6.
  • 5 Product teams should consult with the IT Cloud Services team to acquire the Citrix software or setup. Citrix XenApp was rebranded to Citrix Virtual App.
  • 6 Office 2019 follows Micrososfts Fixed Lifecycle Policy and has a Mainstream End Date of Oct 10, 2023, and an Extended End Date of Oct 14, 2025. Office 2021 follows Microsofts Modern Lifecycle Policy and has a Retirement Date of Oct 13, 2026. For products that require Office to be loaded on the machine for functionality, this version of Office is required. 32-bit is minimum mandatory, and 64-bit is optional. If 64-bit is included, 32-bit should also be supported.
  • 7 Windows desktop products releasing in Q3 2019 or after must remove the SPLM Library and build with latest released Intergraph Smart Licensing SDK and Telemetry only. Web-based products must build with the Intergraph Smart Licensing Web SDK when it’s available. Exceptional approvals are required if not meeting this.
